Ashada is the fourth month in the traditional Hindu calender.It is also Known as Shunya Masam.This month is considered as inauspicious for performing marriages and other functions.

- Monsoon enters into india in this month,Up to that time people may suffer with hot temperatures in summer.
- Chaturmas vrat begins in this month
- Puri Jagannath Ratha yatra takes place
- Vamana(Avatar of Lord Vishnu) is worshipped during this month.
Purnimant Calenders : Ashada month Starts on 10th June 2017 and ends on 10th July 2017.
Amavasyant calenders : Ashada masam starts on 24th June 2017 and ends on 24th July 2017.
